Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim is an upcoming 2013 American science fiction monster film directed by Guillermo del Toro and written by del Toro and Travis Beacham. The film is set in a near future where soldiers pilot giant robots into battle against invading giant monsters who have mysteriously risen from beneath the ocean. The film was produced by Legendary Pictures and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures The film will be released in 3-D and IMAX 3D on July 12, 2013

Journey To The West Trailer (2013) - Stephen Chow

The first trailer and poster have debuted for Journey to the West, a new martial arts comedy directed by Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle, CJ7) and Chi-kin Kwok. No plot details have been released, and you'll be hard pressed to figure out exactly what this bizarre action romp is really about from the trailer. We do get a lot of zany humor, a strange man-pig hybrid, and a monkey wielding a spear. Check out this unique footage, along with the one-sheet. The comedy debuts in Hong Kong February 7, but an American distributor has not been secured yet. Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Qi Shu, Stephen Chow, Chrissie Chow, Zhang Wen, Bo Huang, Show Luo. The film is directed by Chi-kin Kwok, Stephen Chow.

The Bride with White Hair

The Bride with White Hair is a 1993 Hong Kong film directed by Ronny Yu, starring Brigitte Lin and Leslie Cheung.
The film's main character, Lian Nichang, is loosely based on the protagonist of Liang Yusheng's novel Baifa Monü Zhuan, which had earlier served as source material for the 1982 film Wolf Devil Woman. However, Yu saw the film as a Romeo and Juliet story and said that the lovers' struggle against fate and their heroic duty inspired him more than the familiar trappings of most martial arts adventure films. As such, the film departs significantly from the original source.

Flirting Scholar (Chinese: 唐伯虎點秋香; pinyin: Táng Bóhǔ diǎn Qiūxiāng, Cantonese: Tong4 Baak3foo2 dim2 chau2heung1 ) is a 1993 Hong Kong comedy film directed by Lee Lik-Chi and starring Stephen Chow. Despite the movie's success at the Box Office, there were much criticism of Gong Li's acting, A second installment, Flirting Scholar 2, was released in 2010. It is a prequel of the 1993 Hong Kong film with Lik-Chi returning as director.

After Earth 3D

After Earth (originally known as 1000 A.E.) is an upcoming American film co-written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It stars real-life father and son Will and Jaden Smith as Cypher and Kitai Raige, with Will also acting as producer and co-writer, and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures and available on IMAX. It is loosely based on the novel The Songs of Distant Earth by Arthur C.Carke.

Dog Soldiers

Dog Soldiers is a 2002 British horror film written and directed by Neil Marshall, and starring Kevin McKidd, Sean Pertwee and Liam Cunningham. A British production, set in the highlands of Scotland, it was filmed almost entirely in Norway. In the US, it premiered as a Sci Fi Pictures telefilm on the Sci Fi Channel.

The Four

The Four is a 2012 Chinese-Hong Kong wuxia film directed by Gordon Chan and Janet Chun. It was the first big screen adaptation of Wen Ruian's novel series Si Da Ming Bu (四大名捕; The Four Great Constables) which had previously been adapted into numerous television series in Hong Kong. In all adaptations and interpretations, the nicknames of the Four remained the same - Heartless, Iron Fist, Hunter and Cold Blood. They dedicated their special skills to the service of Master Zhuge in solving crimes and apprehending powerful criminals.

The Hangover III

The Hangover Part III is an upcoming American comedy film produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's The Hangover Part II, and the third and final film in The Hangover film series. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Justin Bartha, and John Goodman, with Todd Phillips directing a screenplay written by himself and Craig Mazin. The Hangover Part III is scheduled for release on May 23, 2013.

Oblivion - Tom Cruise

Oblivion is a 2013 American post-apocalyptic science fiction film co-written, produced and directed by Joseph Kosinski and based on his unpublished graphic novel of the same name edited by Radical Comics. It stars Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, Zoë Bell, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The film was initially scheduled for release on July 10, 2013. Since the 3D re-release of Jurassic Park was set for April 5, 2013, the US release date was moved forward to April 19, 2013. According to Kosinski, Oblivion pays homage to science fiction films of the 1970s. It is Tom Cruise's twentieth film to gross more than $200 million worldwide. The movie received moderately favorable reviews; the acting performances were praised, while critiques of the story were mixed.

The film's success led to two sequels being made: The Lost World: Jurassic Park also directed by Spielberg, which was released on May 23, 1997, and Jurassic Park III, directed by Joe Johnston, which was released on July 18, 2001.[6] A 3D re-release was released on April 5, 2013, to commemorate the movie's 20th Anniversary.

Life of Pi is a fantasy adventure novel by Yann Martel published in 2001. The protagonist, Piscine Molitor "Pi" Patel, a Tamil boy from Pondicherry, explores issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age. He survives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded on a boat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker.

Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 (stylized onscreen as Iron Man Three) is a 2013 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Iron Man, produced by Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.1 It is the sequel to Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and the seventh installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, being the first major release in the franchise since the crossover film The Avengers. Shane Black directed a screenplay he co-wrote with Drew Pearce, which is loosely based on the "Extremis" story arc by Warren Ellis. Robert Downey, Jr. reprises his role as the title character, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle reprising their roles as Pepper Potts and James Rhodes, respectively. Jon Favreau, who directed the first two films, serves as an executive producer and reprises his role as Happy Hogan. Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, and Ben Kingsley round out the film's principal cast.

The Last Samurai

The Last Samurai is a 2003 American epic drama film directed and co-produced by Edward Zwick, who also co-wrote the screenplay with John Logan. The film stars Tom Cruise, who also co-produced, as well as Ken Watanabe, Shin Koyamada, Tony Goldwyn, Hiroyuki Sanada, Timothy Spall and Billy Connolly. Inspired by a project by Vincent Ward, it interested Zwick, with Ward later serving as executive producer. The film production went ahead with Zwick and was shot in Ward’s native New Zealand.
